Conference Venue
The city
Thessaloniki is the 2nd biggest city of Greece. It is the co-capital, and usually it is called the Bride of the Thermaic Gulf. It has many archeological sites and museums in and around the city and many more attractions close (an hour or two driving), like Chalkidiki (major touristic resort), Mount Athos monastery state and Olympos mountain. Getting to Thessaloniki from Europe is possible either with:

- indirect flights through Athens from all major cities in Europe and around the world
The venue
The conference (sessions and lunches) will take place at The Met Hotel, located in the center of Thessaloniki. You can get directions to the Hotel from any place by following this link.
Accommodation
The Met Hotel has available rooms for the dates of the conference and provides as a special price 90€ for a single room and 100€ for a double (including breakfast and use of the pool and gym, and free wifi access) for the registrants of the conference. The conference dinner
The conference dinner will take place at Agora Ouzeri, a 20 years old traditional tavern located in the center of Thessaloniki, on Thursday, 5 October at 8:00PM. You can get directions to the tavern by following this link.
Wine reception
The welcome reception will take place at the hotel Tuesday night, 8:00 PM, 2 October, and all workshop and conference participants are welcome to join.
